The generator stator hoisting for the 300 MW artificial cavern compressed air energy storage project in Gansu Province, which our company participates in, was successfully completed. The accurate positioning of this critical core equipment marks that the project has fully stepped into the equipment installation stage.



Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) is an emerging long-duration physical energy storage technology. It generates kinetic energy through air compression and expansion, enabling energy storage independent of external energy supply.
The 300 MW artificial cavern compressed air energy storage (CAES) project in Gansu Province is equipped with a number of globally leading technologies, such as multi-medium and wide-temperature-range heat storage and exchange systems, as well as sealing technology for large-section tunnel-type gas storage reservoirs.Upon its commissioning, the project will be able to meet the annual electricity demand of nearly 300,000 households, based on a per-household annual consumption of 2,000 kWh.
